Maintenance Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding team on a permanent basis in the Hexham area with an immediate start available. Package - * Salary is £37,100 + on call allowance = £45,000 * Potential earnings - £50,000 * Monday to Friday * 39 hours per week * £20 retainer when on call * Mileage paid when on call Responsibilities - * Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods * Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults * Diagnose breakdown problems * Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly * Carry out quality inspections on jobs * Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues * Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or component * Experience with gearboxes, motors and burning Requirements - * Ideally from a heavy industrial background * Must have knowledge of three power phase * Diving license * Must live within an 1 hour drive from Hexham Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
