Quality Technician

Kinetic Recruitment Services are looking to recruit 2 Quality Technicians to cover a period of long-term sickness. We are looking for 2 people who can go in and "hit the ground running"!! You will be working within a large, well known food manufacturing plant who make numerous well-known products. You will be working rotating shifts of; 0600 - 1400 1400 - 2200 2200 - 0600. You will have an early finish on Friday and if you meet all the below criteria - start ASAP! The role of Quality Technician is a critical one and will include: * Overall responsibility for product testing to ensure product is produced to the correct specification. * Ensuring any re-testing is carried out within the correct time. * Ensuring blocked ambient stock is proactively managed * Escalating any issues found with product out of specification /or continuing trends to production & Quality Manager. * Releasing product once the product has been deemed suitable for the customer. * Support launch process for Ambient products including trials. * Taking part in traceability exercises * Support the factory by undertaking internal audits * Support definition of QC parameters with development * Assist with investigations in customer complaints & retrieval of library samples. * Ensure that QC documentation is completed correctly and maintained and up to date to satisfy the requirements of the company, customers and certification bodies. * Participation in HACCP reviews. As the Quality Technicians, you must have: * Experience as a Quality Technician within a Product Testing Environment (Within Food) * Minimum of 2 years' experience within a food manufacturing environment * Excellent communication skills written and oral. * Attention to detail is a must. * Any Food or Certificates would be an advantage. * Able to prioritise. * Team player and able to develop others.
