Product Technician

Kinetic Recruitment are currently recruiting for Product Technician's to work for a very well established manufacturing company based in St Helen's. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm £11.44 per hour The Product Technician is to learn the processes for and support the manufacturing and fulfilment of all company simulation products. The role will include learning about and performing critical manufacturing tasks, supported by senior product technicians and the company's Operations Manager, including: * Processing acrylic plastics and producing acrylic sub-assemblies. * Performing production level 3D printing processes, including the post-processing of printed parts, such as polishing and dyeing. * Producing medical models using silicone and pigments, casting materials into moulds and assembling models. * Assembling mechanical and electronic components for the company's flagship LapAR simulator. * Assembling electrical components, such as circuit boards for cameras, using soldering irons and pick and place machinery. * Labelling products accurately, maintaining stock levels (stock control) and taking an active role in the goods-in and goods-out processes. * Fulfilling company orders by packaging simulators and products appropriately prior to dispatch. Product Technicians will enter the company at a Level 1 grade for a minimum of 1 year, with the opportunity to progress to Level 2 and Level 3 thereafter.
