Machine Operator

Kinetic Industrial are recruiting for a Machine Operator for a cable manufacturer in Worsley. This is a permanent position, where you will be working on a 3 shift basis: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am, rotating weekly. As a Machine Operator, you will be: * Measuring and feeding batches of raw materials into machinery * Operating production line equipment, such as conveyor lines and hoists * Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders * Monitoring the production process * Quality control checking products, and ensuring parts meet customer and internal standards /specifications * Operating pre-set moulding machines * Setting and Operating hand-controlled or computer-controlled machines * Adjusting machine controls & monitor the production process & outputs * Finishing products, such as applying protective coatings * Building up components & sub-assemblies into finished product * Identifying equipment faults and reporting to maintenance staff * Carry out cleaning & basic maintenance of work areas & machinery * Always working in a safe manner, complying with Health and Safety standards Requirements: * Experience within the cable industry is desirable * Excellent attention to detail * A positive, can-do, hands on attitude to work * Willing to learn * Good team player * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Good level of Maths and English skills This position offers the following: * £27,000 per year * Full training * Excellent work environment * Pension / Health insurance / Life assurance * Free coffee / tea, and fruits If you are able to work all 3 shifts, and are interested in the vacancy then please apply below!
