Kinetic are currently searching for a Welder for a leading Manufacturing business in Altrincham! Type: Temp to Perm Shifts: Monday - Thursday, 06:30 - 16:45 (Some flexibility on start/finish times) Pay: £25,000 - £30,000 p/a Industry: Manufacturing Job Title: Assembly Technician / Mechanical Fitter Job Description: As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in the production of high-precision gauges and instrumentation. Your work will directly contribute to the creation of critical components for pressure and temperature measurement devices used in diverse, high-pressure environments. Key Responsibilities: * Weld and fabricate components for pressure and temperature measurement instruments, ensuring precision and accuracy in line with industry standards. * Use a variety of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc) to work with different materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and other alloys. * Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications of components and assemblies. * Work closely with the production team to meet timelines and quality standards. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and company procedures. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Welder, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Experience working with materials like stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloys. * Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality welds and finished products. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Familiarity with the manufacturing of precision instruments or gauges is a plus.
