Mechanical Fitter

My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join an expanding team on a permanent basis in the Bedlington area. Package - * Salary is £17.68 per hour * Monday to Friday * 08:00 - 17:00 * Minimum of 40 hours per week * Overtime available on a regular basis during the week, Saturday's and Sunday's Duties - * Mechanical fitting using the direction of engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Work on Precision Parts, Sub-Assemblies and Final Assemblies * Carry out Final Test and Commissioning on Part Completed or Completed Systems * Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments * Working in a compliant manner to ensure that products are built to the correct technical and quality specifications * Install, test and repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves * Must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality * Using hand tools as well as grinders and drills Experience - * Experience across a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components * Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in using a variety of engineering equipment with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality * Previous experience working with hydraulics * Must hold an Engineering Apprenticeship qualification within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment or relevant recognised qualification Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
