Grinder Gateshead Permanent 2-Shift pattern £16.50 - £22.50 per hour Kinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for a full time Grinder to work on a permanent contract at our clients site in Gateshead. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the role of a grinder is to operate a variety of finish grinding machines, both CNC and Manual, to tight tolerances. Responsibilities: Maximise machine efficiency levels Record and maintain relevant documentation Ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times Any other tasks as requested by the Machine Shop Supervisor/Manager Skills and Experience: Time served in an engineering discipline Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment Have good communication skills Have the ability to work on own initiative Be flexible when required The role is on a 2 shift pattern. 07:00 - 15:30 (12:00 Friday) 21:15 - 07:00 Please only apply if you would be flexible to work shifts.
