FLT and Warehousing Operator

We are currently looking for a FLT and Warehousing Operator to join a renowned manufacturing business on a temporary to permanent basis based in Birtley for an immediate start. The FLT and Warehousing Operator will work PERMANENT NIGHT SHIFT 9pm- 5am Sunday - Thursday. The rate of pay is £15.25 for nights. The successful candidate must be happy working outside. Whilst this role does require the right candidate to have a Counterbalance Licence, it will also involve physical, manual work. The willingness to do general warehousing duties as well as FLT operating is imperative. The role is working outside in the yard, inside the factory, involves heavy lifting and use of initiative. FLT and Warehousing Operator role and requirements * Operation of a counterbalance for transporting returns within the yard and factory area * Transporting products within the designated area with a counter-balance forklift truck * Labelling and shrink wrapping pallets * Manually lifting products and placing materials within the warehouse * Foaming products * Must have a valid counterbalance forklift truck licence either in house or recognised. * Be able to work both individually in a team. * Should be able to start almost immediately.
