Engineering Stores Person

Kinetic PLC are excited to be working alongside an extremely successful engineering company based in Hadfield. We are helping them to recruit a Permanent Engineering Stores Person. This is not a run of the mill Stores roll - accuracy is key as there are a lot of different components. You will be an integral part of a small team who pick and deliver component kits to the assembly team. This must be completed accurately and promptly to enable the company to meet customer requirements. As the Engineering Stores person, your key responsibilities for this position will be: * Help to organise and maintain the stores area, thus helping to ensure correct parts can be accurately identified * Working alongside the packing and dispatch teams to complete orders * Storing and recording items from internal and external sources * Controlling any issues with regards to the components to ensure accurate stock is maintained * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records on ERP system * Checking and closing off works orders The Engineering Stores role requires you to have the following: * Working within an Engineering Stores role is a must * If you have experience of working with Kardex - this would be a great advantage * Excellent communication skills - written and oral * Must be computer literate * Must be able to understand technical information. * Willingness to learn Other information for the Stores Person is: * £26,208 per annum * Enhanced Over time (Optional) * 0700 - 1600 Monday to Thursday (flexible) * 0700 - 1300 Early finish on a Friday * 25 days holiday + bank hols If you want to work for a dynamic company and want to build on your career then please do apply with an up to date CV. ***Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
