Sewing Machinist

Kinetic Industrial are working in partnership with a furniture manufacturer based in Stretford. They have been established for many, many years and, as a family run business, are going from strength to strength!! We are looking to add to their team by recruiting Sewing Machinists. You will have the luxury of working to the hours that suit you - whether that be the full 40 hours or Part Time and it is also a temporary to permanent position. As the Sewing Machinist, you will be: * Operating either Overlocking or Flatbed Sewing Machine * Trimming a variety of fabricate * Producing Cushions and other fabric products for furniture * Upholstery work for soft furnishings (Cushions, sofas etc) * Attention to Detail and General Housekeeping * Operating automatic / walking foot machines As the sewing machinist, we need people who have/are * Experience of working with Flatbed / Overlocking machines * Experience with Automatic/Walking Foot Machines * Upholstery / Furniture / Heavy Fabrics experience is a must * Excellent communication skills - written and oral * Quality over Quantity, whilst still hitting targets * Able to start ASAP (After registration) The sewing machinist will be working for a great company and will also receive: * £12.50 - £13.00 PH (Based on experience) * Hours of work are VERY flexible to suit the right person - Part Time or Full Time (40hrs) hours are available * Monday to Friday with hours between 0600 - 1600 NO weekends * Temporary to Permanent Work * Company Pension (discussed when permanent) * Free Parking This is a really good opportunity for someone who has the experience of heavy duty sewing machine and someone that needs a little bit flexibility with hours.
