Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Long-term contract Newcastle Upon Tyne £39-40k per annum (plus shift allowance when on shifts) Kinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a long term contract in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Our client is a well known engineering company with operations worldwide. This position will initially start on a dayshift but will eventually lead on to a 3 shift pattern once the successful candidate settles in. Electrical Maintenance Engineer skills and experience; Experience of machine tools Formal apprenticeship/ 5+ years engineering experience Working in a machine tool environment preferred Mechatronics/cross discipline trained Competent with computing, spreadsheets, word doc etc Basic understanding of induction motors Knowledge of the operation of relays/contactors/electro-mechanical valves/pumps, etc Experience with the use of test equipment Understands advanced electrical drawings Understands basic hydraulic drawings Understands basic pneumatic drawings Experience with Siemens 840D/Dsl Familiarity with Siemens 840D/Dsl advanced diagnostic, plc variables, drive set up Familiarity with Siemens S7 plc diagnostic and editing Familiarity with Siemens analogue and digital drives If you are interested and have the relevant skills and experience please apply via the link provided.
