Injection Molding Operator

We are currently looking for an Injection Molding Operator to join an established but continuously growing business based in Ponteland. The Injection Molding Operator role is temporary leading to permanent. The pay rate is between £12.21 and £14.00 per hour depending on experience. The hours of work are 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30am - 1:30pm on Fridays. The Injection Molding Operator's responsibilities are: Mixing materials Removing and checking molded components from the machines Setting up molds Controlling machines Monitoring and adjusting production schedules Inspecting products and troubleshooting problems. Fitting of brass inserts to molded components through press insertion. Requirements of the Injection Molding Operator: Knowledgeable of injection molding processes and quality control standards would be desirable. Although the correct training would be provided. Good attention to detail. Able to work within a small team or work independently A flexible approach, to work overtime when necessary.
